Therevol Cher … (The rest does not appear) I am a 4th year medical student from Australia, its great to hear that you've decided to give a try quiting. This will be a difficult journey, but I have great faith in you. I suggest you use Google to find what services are available to help you. In Australia, we have called a hotline free Quitline, and I'm sure they have something similar where you are. You can give nicotine patches / gum Try it if you find it too difficult, you can become addicted to nicotine patches, but they are rather harmless and certainly better than actually smoking. I was told that the important thing is to try to avoid stress quiting, and do not give up. A lot of people try to quit, but fail and lose hope. Always remember that even if you have one cigarette, making the last week, and try to remember how you did not smoke. wish you and your mother the best, remember that smoking is greater than 10 to 20, even if you fail to do, you're still helping your body much, just keep trying ^ ^ John
