What are the marijuana laws in Utah?

I stopped smoking pot a month ago and got involved with the police to bust my dealer. I gave them his phone number and they are going to subpoena his phone records. I have sent him text messages that say I want to buy marijuana, but I’m not in possession. And I have only bought once from him. Can a text message be enough evidence to send me to jail even if I’m not in possession, nor have been for over a month?

I dont know man, but i think your kind of being an ass. Id rather let him get caught by his own mistakes, instead of ratting him out. Especially if I bought from him before. Kind of hyprocritical.

It might not even send him to jail. The police are going to have to bust him either way. They need the physcial evidence of weed. They also might not even have an excuse to break in to his house in search just because of a text message.
