Stop Smoking Prescription Meds

Why drug Chantix causes nightmares? Anyone else have this problem?

I started Chantix prescription med to quit smoking a month ago. And for the last month, I had nightmares every night, after I took the PM dose. So I wanted to see if the medicine was really cause nightmares, and I took the morning dose and dose jumped PM. I do not have nightmares when I do this … I guess Chantix is the cause of bad dreams … someone else had a similar experience or know why he would have nightmares? Thank you
