Stop Smoking Hypnosis Articles

Building motivation to quit smoking
There are two states of mind which must be satisfied before a smoker to quit voluntarily. These essential elements are called "Desire" and "decision".
DESIRE: a need, want or desire to
DECISION: Manufacture of the mind / a verdict or ruling
To quit smoking, you have to want to quit smoking. You probably want quit smoking, at least some of you, or you would not be reading this article.
In addition, to stop smoking, you must decide not addiction to cigarettes. Because you do not quit, it just means that you have not decided to stop smoking again.
So what you need to feel a strong motivation to make a decision "to quit.
MOTIVATION, we we all want. The source of each of our motivations is a belief. Think about it, if you have not been convinced that you would be wrong if you've jumped off a building several floors, then you do not feel motivated to be on the lookout. If you do not believe that the gnawing sensation that the stomach meant you were hungry, you do not feel motivated to eat.
When it comes to giving up the addiction to cigarettes, people who smoke need to feel a great motivation to make the decision to stop. Motivation is based on ideas that we believe. Thus, you need to know exactly what are the ideas that motivate you if you believed. Because when you feel strongly motivated to stop smoking.
Thank you to NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) hypnosis and motivation, it is much easier to learn to believe that these new ideas that you think is. However, you do not believe ideas that will motivate you to quit smoking at that location, or if you have already stopped smoking cigarettes,.
For purposes of this discussion, we we need to define some words.
Mat: Uncertain / suspicious / doubtful – "it may be that way, and perhaps not. "
BELIEF: Trust / faith / Principle – A state of mind without any doubt. In other words, belief means is the way it is. "
Much appreciated CRITERIA: What is most important to you as an individual human being.
When you think that if you continue to smoke your criteria is put at risk of substantial value, you will feel the motivation you need to break your addiction to cigarettes. We call this a negative motivation, because it is a belief that motivates giving you bad feelings. negative motivation are perfect to get you to make decisions and changes in your life.
When you think that if you do not quit your criteria value be improved, you'll also feel the motivation you need to stop smoking. This is a positive motivation, because you motivated by promising good feelings if you stop smoking.
The first mission is to help you understand what the most critical aspects of your life are. Your greater value criteria are usually intangibles. For example: the money would not be very popular with the criteria, but the freedom pleasure, or security that money can buy would be. Write a list of criteria on a popular piece of paper.
Then you must decide what you would need to believe to feel motivated to break the habit. Here's the good news, of sorts: the logic has nothing to do with belief. Things did not make sense for a person to believe them. In fact, they rarely are. So do not worry about logic!
The format of your beliefs will be negative motivation: "I think if I continue to smoke, something terrible will happen to my channel most appreciated ".
Make sure you frame your motivations in the affirmative. In other words, in any case what you want or what happen. Never say this will not happen. Eliminate the "no" word of faith.
In this example, we say that the well-being of your children is your criteria the most popular.
Wrong: "I think if I continue to smoke, I'm not going to make my child's health any good."
CORRECT: "I think if I continue to smoke, my secondhand smoke will make my children sick."
Then create a list of factors of positive motivation. "I think if I quit smoking: (Something very important will be enhanced). "
Wrong: "I think if I stop smoking, I will not make my kids sick. "
CORRECT: "I think if I quit smoking, my children will be safe because I will eliminate their exposure to the dangers of my secondhand smoke. "
Next step is to change the computer codes in the brain to make you think these ideas really motivational. Now, for a bomb: Your beliefs have nothing to do with what is real. Instead, your beliefs have everything to do with your perception of reality. In other words, it has much to do with how you see things.
Our belief systems are located in our subconscious. The subconscious mind is like a computer. Computers have no sense. The input to a computer controls the output of a computer. To demonstrate this, I want you to think of something you already believe without the slightest doubt. Make it a belief that makes you feel good.
For example, it is easy for most people to believe they love their children. If this is true for you, make a mental image that allows you to experience this feeling of love.
I will ask some questions, and there is no right or wrong answers.
Is your mental image of a moving image, or more?
it is in color or black and white?
Is it close or distant?
Is it focused or fuzzy?
It is normally clear, too bright or dark?
Is there a border on that?
Is there no boundaries?
Is there a picture?
It does not matter Your answers are written. They are computer code that uses your subconscious to make you feel your feelings faith. In this case, they are the codes to believe positive mental, because you have chosen a belief that gives you a positive feeling. You have just calibrated your positive belief.
All images are bright and focused positive belief. If yours does not, then you probably do not really believing fully. An element of doubt is probably present. So find another belief to calibrate.
If you think of something you have doubts, and you make a mental picture of it, one or more of these computer codes will probably be different. Similarly, if you have a conviction that makes you feel negative (negative belief): one or more of these codes will be different.
In NLP we call these computer codes submodalities visual.
Now you need to calibrate a negative belief. So, repeat the same exact process, but do so using an idea that you believe that you already feel horrible.
Once you have calibrated both your positive and negative aspects of your beliefs, it's a simple question to manipulate what you think you can motivate decide to quit.
So, to summarize, using the example above: "I think if I continue to smoke, my secondhand smoke will ruin the health of my child. "
1. Become aware of how you feel motivated to quit smoking.
2. Make an image Mental illustrates the above belief.
3. Set the computer codes (submodalities visual) image to match the codes the image of your calibrated negative belief.
4. If you are right handed, put your eyes (and your mental image) to your left and keep it there for five seconds. If you are left, go right. This will help you to quickly memorize the creed.
5. Now feel how much you feel motivated to quit smoking. You feel more motivated? Do you feel less motivated? Or do you feel the same?
By using this system, you can believe anything by making an image in your mind that illustrates your new idea, then adjusting your mental image to match your calibrated belief picture.
And if you have the belief that what holds you back, you can use the same technique to change that belief to doubt by changing one or two of submodalities and store this way.
Now you can motivate you to decide to quit, you can quit. A decision to quit means: I'm going, no matter what it takes. If you're like most, you will not want to leave to feel bad. The good news is that you will not have to suffer. Since there are several hypnotic and NLP methods that can greatly reduce or completely eliminate discomfort of withdrawal from tobacco addiction to cigarettes.
