With heart disease on the rise in North America, it is essential to know warning signs of heart disease before it is too late – it could save your life. There are several warning signs of heart disease, and they include follows. Most heart attacks involve discomfort in the center of the chest that lasts more than a few minutes or comes and goes. The feeling can take the form of pressure, tightness or a feeling of fullness in the chest. Heart attacks are often accompanied by pain in other parts of the body, such as the neck, back, jaw, arm or stomach. Heart attacks can also cause shortness of breath, either while you are having chest pain, or to the chest pain occurs. Other symptoms may include nausea, sweating and dizziness. It is important to note that among women, these signs are often less severe. If you experience any of these symptoms, you should see your doctor immediately. Many times there is nothing to fear, but you should always check with a physician if chest discomfort is involved in case.

If you experience these symptoms while at home, you should immediately call 911 or call someone for you, and slept in a comfortable position. If you're already on heart medications, take the normal dose, and take an aspirin because aspirin will thin your blood and allow oxygen to enter your heart. Do not take drugs against the pain of others, such as Advil or ibuprofen. Then just try to relax while using arrives.

Although these diseases can be hereditary, there are many things you can do to try to reduce your risk of developing disease. Even if all members of your family have had other heart disease, it does not mean you have to succeed too. What you can do to help reduce your risk of eating a better diet, including plenty of vegetables, whole grains, fruits and proteins low in fat. You should also try to cut fast food and junk food that significantly increase the risk of developing heart disease. While you will command a salad in a fast food restaurant make sure you get the dressing is low fat and trans fat. You should also make an effort to exercise at least 3 times per week for 30 minutes each time. You should also limit your consumption of alcohol and quit smoking. All these things will help reduce your chances of getting heart disease.
