I really want to quit, but do not know if I'm ready?

As the price of cigarettes increased by $ 2 a package where I live, I think it's time for me to quit. I am 25 and have been smoking for 9 years. I smoke about a pack a day. My boyfriend and some friends quit last week and I would join them but I do not know if I'm honest loan. I'm sick of the habit and the money I lose. Wondering if any of u out there have any tips?
