Quit Smoking Lungs Clean

Should I cough since I quit smoking?
I smoked my last cigarette 6 days ago, and I'm OK, except for disorders sleep. Everyone I talked to said that they have developed a terrible cough after quitting, and it is supposed to be lung cleansing and healing. I have not coughed once … Am I doing too much damage to my lungs?
Every case is different, it really depends on the brand and the quality of cigarettes and if you use filters and how much you smoke. For some people, if they do not smoke regularly, they begin to cough mucus, because there is an accumulation of it in the throat causing irritation and coughing. If you do not smoke or too strong brands, then you can not produce more mucus, so you will not cough. It also depends on how many times you tried to quit before and for how long. Just drink liquids that you can clear your throat and breathe deeply whenever you can, to help clear the trachea and airways. I tried to stop a few times, the first time I did, I was coughing a lot, because I was not used, but then I tried the following does not cough at all. There is nothing to fear, but insomnia can be a problem, try sleeping pills with a glass of cool water before bed for a week and eventually you get used to. Congratulations and good luck in the future.
