my cravings never go away?

I started taking a new drug called Champix "he 5 weeks ago. It makes you stop smoking because, after the first week of taking the pills, cigarettes taste gross and you can not complete a physical because of the taste. beautiful and good, I have not had a cigarette for a month now, so I would be happy right? no. drugs is also alcohol and the crude caffeine taste too. I can not have a smoke, a beer or coffee more without nausea. sucks. my life is still smoking like different.i because I have been happier. Is that logical?

I think the medication you are referring to is Chantix (varenicline), which is a drug for smoking cessation. Its possible that your use of coffee and alcohol are both tied with your experiences of smoking in the past, is the case with most smokers I've come in contact with. However, there is no clinical data to support this phenomenon. Side effects that you have with alcohol and caffeine may well be temporary. It is not listed as a side effect on one of my sources of pharmacy school. If drug therapy is causing you problems in your life I recommend you speak with your pharmacist. Most local pharmacies are well trained in a number of alternatives to quitting. Whatever you do, do not start smoking. You already spent the hardest part, coming back now would just say that you would eventually try to stop again.
