How do you train to be a smoking cessation advisor?

I have managed to quit smoking and feel great . If I can do it anybody can and I would like to help but need to find out about training.

Well done on the quit. I’m not sure about where you get training but alot of people (including myself) swear by Alan Carr – Easyway. It would be great if you could pass on Mr Carr’s legacy and take it to the NHS stop smoking groups somehow. I have attended those and they are appalling. Maybe setting something up privately would be the way to go with private sessions. Start by helping some friends and see how it goes. Good luck xx
