My Story smokers to quit and how it can work for you

I started smoking at the age of 15, who was 14 years ago, from about 19 years, I tried to quit the habit 20 days. I can tell you now that I've tried just about all means in order to quit smoking, the longest I ever went without a cigarette is 7 months. But since the beginning of the electronic cigarette Did not need me to quit, sounds ironic me know, but it does not harm me if I can at least enjoy it. Here is a list of what alternatives to nicotine (NRT) or the method I tried it and about the length of time I agreed with them:

1. Gum – used to make these many different occasions and with other NRTs such as patches. Stop smoking for about a month on these alone.

2. Lozenges – Did not quit at all on these.

3. Patches – hundreds of books devoted about this and have successfully deployed more than 1000 pounds of taxpayers' money to obtain these clinics to stop smoking. One year, I managed to finish During the week 12 (without a single cigarette) and remained nicotine free for four months. Have to say if, from time to time I thought of a cigarette and soon returned, I thought did a good job to stop smoking if.

4. Inhaler – A little over a month I left with them, I remember the doctor giving me these side along a course full strength patch, which does not seem logical to me, nicotine increased to my eyeballs, but in the end I still reached for that cigarette, and it made me feel very sick. But I did not stop If smoking.

5. Hypnotherapy – This is one of the best methods I tried, I booked I see someone on New Years Eve, which was the only time I could, and then I felt no different, all I kept thinking was if I needed a cigarette? I ended up out of the night and I did not want to smoke a cigarette, even after a few drinks, ok maybe a little … I went into the night lacking a cigarette at all. But three months have passed and I ended up thinking smoking again. Dredge everything we needed. Back on full time. Have tried hypnotherapy twice since then and had no effect on me at all.

6. Books – I read the Allen Carr's Easy Way to Quit Smoking, I was very surprised by this book that I have actually quit smoking after completing the book, but only for three months. I still give the guy (who sadly died km) credit for writing this book really well. At the end I thought I still had not quit.

7. Clinical – This is The clinical version of Easy Way to quit smoking, I paid £ 120 for their time, were able to quit smoking for three wretched days. I went to some sessions more freedom to give it another go, unfortunately did not work for me.

8. Hypnotherapy Audio – Lost count how many times I went to bed listening to those actually think I'll wake up a non-smoker.

9. Pills – I recommend not to take them, Champex and Zyban. These have serious side effects ranging from headaches to even slight have adapted. Basically, all they do turn on your receiver nicotine in the brain cells you off, so you do not feel like a cigarette, but when you stop receiving cells are back online. Did not quit on those that I stopped taking them after one week of sleep deprivation and constant cold sweat.

10. Cold turkey – I took the same amount of time it had to go to stores to buy a pack of cigarettes or to politely ask someone at work.

So there you have it, either approximately 10 years of my life trying to quit, sounds very sad when I think about it actually. I am strong will, but somewhere deep Me I am pleased to smoke, otherwise I would not go back.

Here the electronic cigarette has got given complete freedom, I have the feeling and the pressure of trying to quit smoking. A doctor once told me that the receptor cells nicotine in the brain are there forever, 20 years can pass and if I had a drag of a cigarette, I'd be hooked again. After 10 years constant pressure on myself to quit, I can say that everything I will be smoking cigarettes is now electronic. It makes me feel exactly that tobacco smoking blow smoke (steam) and when I'm socializing I can still smoke with other smokers. It does feel strange at first and somewhat embarrassing, but has been a great conversation starter that few people have even seen or heard of these devices. I will be sticking to these very long.
