Quit Cigarettes Symptoms Quit Cigarettes Symptoms
Are these symptoms of withdrawal from regular cigarettes?

Well I stopped smoking about 4 or 5 days, and now im bad feeling. My cough has gotten much worse, and I can feel the crud in my throat. and I felt chest discomfort. and chest heavy. Also my breathing is not the same. It's as if im not getting enough air, so I sigh and more. This makes the worst pain in the chest, and my heart beat faster. Also have very slight feeling of vertigo. I was afraid I might have a heart attack or something. But if I no longer blows it feels better. I think it Perhaps because my body is not accustomed to much oxygen? Is this normal? What can I do? The doctor is not a preferred option yet! Thank you

Well, unfortunately, I smoked for 17 years, quit for 9 years and started back on a bad day. ;) Anyway, when I quit (cold turkey) – stuff I was coughing for months. Has passed through a period where I would also choke half to death once or twice a day trying to spit. But your lungs repair themselves. You can try deep breathing a few times a day, rather than try not to breathe – which will also contribute to the anxiety of abandonment. Also, drink plenty of water (preferably not water tap). I wish you the best and if you still smoke, smoke less than one who is 100% tobacco. I've seen people post on Yahoo that companies IGC do not put anything in them. I could not believe my eyes when I read that – there is a list of about 599 additives they put in cigarettes. People if Please stop believing the propaganda of the company. And for those who do not know – American Spirit cigarettes was acquired by RJ Reynolds.
